Description

What is this product?

★This is a math test designed from the Go Math curriculum for first grade. The questions cover all the topics and lessons from the chapter, but are much clearer than the current tests. They are based more on the "on your own" sections from each lesson. They are clear and to the point and use the same format and directions from the program.

What is included in this product?

★FOUR tests!!!

★The first test is a PDF file with manipulatives in the directions. There are 20 questions covering all the topics from the chapter. An answer key is included.

★The first test is a PDF file without manipulatives in the directions. An answer key is included.

★The third test is a Google Slides file. It is exactly the same as the pdf file, with modified directions for online work. There are text boxes for students to type in their answers and objects and shapes to manipulate. A separate answer key is included.

★The fourth test is a Google Form featuring multiple choice and short answer questions. In some cases, the Google Form has slightly fewer questions than the other versions due to the nature of the questions and format of Google Forms. The short answer questions have a variety of acceptable answers based on potential spelling and spacing errors the students may make. This is completely EDITABLE!

I'm a student teacher and I bought this assessment for practice. After showing to my mentor teacher and 1st grade level teachers, we decided to have as an actual assessment of the end of Unit #1. It very good, simple and was easy to understand for students. Definitely I will buy the next units assessments of Go Math with you! Thank you for making things easier! I recommend this product 100%.

This was so much nicer than using the paper tests, especially in person during covid! My students loved using the computers to test, too. Please please bundle them all soon! I will absolutely purchase them all!

Use addition and subtraction within 20 to solve word problems involving situations of adding to, taking from, putting together, taking apart, and comparing, with unknowns in all positions, e.g., by using objects, drawings, and equations with a symbol for the unknown number to represent the problem.
Apply properties of operations as strategies to add and subtract. If 8 + 3 = 11 is known, then 3 + 8 = 11 is also known. (Commutative property of addition.) To add 2 + 6 + 4, the second two numbers can be added to make a ten, so 2 + 6 + 4 = 2 + 10 = 12. (Associative property of addition.)
Add and subtract within 20, demonstrating fluency for addition and subtraction within 10. Use strategies such as counting on; making ten (e.g., 8 + 6 = 8 + 2 + 4 = 10 + 4 = 14); decomposing a number leading to a ten (e.g., 13 - 4 = 13 - 3 - 1 = 10 - 1 = 9); using the relationship between addition and subtraction (e.g., knowing that 8 + 4 = 12, one knows 12 - 8 = 4); and creating equivalent but easier or known sums (e.g., adding 6 + 7 by creating the known equivalent 6 + 6 + 1 = 12 + 1 = 13).
