Description
This set of 24 task cards was developed to support your students understanding of collecting and displaying data. The cards were designed to coordinate with the Go Math curriculum but could be used more broadly since they are written in line with the 2nd grade math common core. An answer sheet and answer key are provided for your use. There is also a template for a packet that you can cut and staple or glue together for storage of the cards.
Topics include:
Reading data on charts including picture graphs, tally charts and bar graphs.
Reviewing data collected and inserting it into a graph
Answering questions about a graph that require understanding of how to read the chart or applying addition or subtraction to answer.
Use data to draw a chart.
