Description

These google slides are an adaptation of my Go Math 3rd Grade Chapter 5 Use Multiplication Task Cards . Instead of actual paper task cards, this product is an interactive google slide presentation to be used electronically on ipads or computers for distance learning.

There are 24 question slides with multiple choice answers. If you choose to have students work on their own, have the student view the slides in presentation mode. The student can click on the answer that he or she thinks is correct and will get an immediate response.

The last slides are answer sheets for your reference. Since these slides are geared toward 3rd grade math common core, they can be useful for other curriculums as well.

Multiply one-digit whole numbers by multiples of 10 in the range 10–90 (e.g., 9 × 80, 5 × 60) using strategies based on place value and properties of operations.
Determine the unknown whole number in a multiplication or division equation relating three whole numbers. For example, determine the unknown number that makes the equation true in each of the equations 8 × ? = 48, 5 = __ ÷ 3, 6 × 6 = ?.
Identify arithmetic patterns (including patterns in the addition table or multiplication table), and explain them using properties of operations. For example, observe that 4 times a number is always even, and explain why 4 times a number can be decomposed into two equal addends.
