Description

Like GoMath but don't like their digital materials? I made my own to help my kids stay engaged. Each Notebook file page comes with a learning target that is easily changed to meet your exact wording. Many of the lessons include a Marzano-aligned vocabulary study page.

Don't use Go Math? These are still great for you as they are driven by the standard.

Let this Smartboard presentation help you teach your whole class or small groups how to:
a. Define and explain the word "generate"
a. Generate equivalent fractions by using fraction tiles
b. Generate equivalent fractions by multiplying by 1 whole
c. Generate equivalent fractions by cross-multiplying

There is a short formative assessment included at the end. I LOVE not having to create the fraction models that morning or as I'm going along. It's SO EASY when it's already saved for you! :)

Check out my freebie to see if my work will work for you. I use these every day in my classroom.

This is an excellent resource! It is exactly what I envisioned making but didn't have the time. It is well made and everything worked as intended (tiles moved, etc.). I love how it is scaffolded and how it gives ample opportunity for student participation at the board. I used it for an observation lesson and it was perfect! Thank you so much!
