Description
As a teacher, I became tired of not being able to find quizzes to use as daily grades that were formatted like the state assessment test that my kids will take every spring.
So, I downloaded the Florida Test Item Specs for the 4th Grade Florida Standards Assessment (FSA, which are VERY similar to Common Core) and formatted these quizzes using language like the test specs provide.
Did this work? Let me just put it like this—more than 80 percent of my math classes pass the FSA every year, and for the last 2 years, I’ve at least 90 percent of my students make a learning gain!
