Description

These are digital exit slips (google slides) that go along with each lesson of Go Math Grade 4 Chapter 7. There are two different types of exit slips: Group A-far more scaffolded for struggling students, or Group B-less scaffolding & more word problems. I use these at the end of each day's lesson or you could assign them all as a review at the end of the chapter.

Once you assign the slides you want students to complete, they can click on the colored boxes where text boxes will appear for them to type in their answers. Some have draggable options. An answer key is included. (Some answers are possible as there are multiple correct answers).

Understand a fraction 𝘢/𝘣 with 𝘢 > 1 as a sum of fractions 1/𝘣.
Understand addition and subtraction of fractions as joining and separating parts referring to the same whole.
Decompose a fraction into a sum of fractions with the same denominator in more than one way, recording each decomposition by an equation. Justify decompositions, e.g., by using a visual fraction model. Examples: 3/8 = 1/8 + 1/8 + 1/8; 3/8 = 1/8 + 2/8; 2 1/8 = 1 + 1 + 1/8 = 8/8 + 8/8 + 1/8.
