Description
Included in this Microsoft word document is 4 modified lesson worksheets for lessons 9.1, 9.2, 9.3, 9.5, 9.6, and 9.7 for Go Math's Grade 4 curriculum.
**Lesson 9.4 is not included as I used the regular Go Math lesson pages to teach that day***
Each lesson worksheet is 2 pages and intended to be completed with the teacher (great for small group instruction for students who need extra support).
Each lesson begins with the I Can statement, the vocabulary (if applicable), a "Watch Me" section where they see a teacher completed model, a "Let's try these together!" section which is a guided practice section, a "Quick Check" (formative assessment), and an "On Your Own" section. If a student got the quick check correct they would complete the On Your Own section independently, however, if they were incorrect, they would stay with the teacher to complete the final section. After completing this modified lesson with the teacher, students are more capable of completing the Go Math lesson with success.
Additionally, this document includes helpful resources or aids for students such as a decimal place value chart.
Answer key NOT included
This document aligns with the same CCLS standards that lessons 9.1, 9.2, 9.3, 9.5, 9.6, and 9.6 align to in the Go Math book. They are as follows:
4. NF C6
4. NF C5
4. MD A2
4. NF C7
Since this is a Microsoft Word document is allows you to change names if you would like to use your own students names in the word problems, and print how you would like! Ex: double siding the worksheets for easier handouts to the students.
******I create modified lessons based off of the Go Math lessons since I am the special education teacher in an ICT classroom. Some Go Math lessons meet the needs of diverse learners, however, some I have noticed go right into word problems or problem solving, before giving the students enough time to comprehend the actual skill. That is why I created modified lesson worksheets for the lessons listed above. I use them instead of the GO Math lesson for that day, but then let students work in the Go Math book if they successfully completed this lesson worksheet. NOT ALL LESSONS FROM THE CHAPTER ARE INCLUDED HERE. Only the lessons listed above are included. ******

This resource was creative and engaging for my fourth-grade students!
A great resource for breaking down concepts and practicing skills - thank you!
I am very confused on these pages. There are blank problems and parts that seem to be referring to something that is not there. For example, in the quick check it says, "write the fraction and decimal shown" but there is no picture to go with it.
Love these resources! Great for extra homework or classwork. Aligns perfectly with Go MATH!
Thanks!
I LOVE your products so much. Thank you for the modified Go Math stuff - it is a real life saver!!
This product is really easy to use and very clear. It really helps break down, clarify and reinforce the chapter 9 concepts. Thank you very much!!!
thank you
