Goal setting for Reading, Writing, Math & Behavior!
Goal-setting is an important part of daily life and it is never to early to teach our youngest kids how to do that!
This focus on this product is to conduct goal-setting conferences with your students individually once you have observed their academics and behavior. Using whatever data you have collected, you can help your students see what they may want to work toward whether it is reading, writing, math, or behavior.
Included in this product are four different forms for goal setting (all editable and gender-specific), a parent letter explaining the goal-setting process, follow-up goal letters to parents (all editable), possible goals for you to use in kid-friendly language in all the mentioned areas, certificates for meeting the goal (if you choose to use-in color and black & white), and a tracking sheet for each student so that you will know their goals. The tracking sheet is also editable. I have also included a 2-10 tracking sheet. Two-ten is a relationship building process that you can use with kids that may be hard to reach. The idea is that you spend two minutes a day for ten days just chatting with the student. This builds a rapport and hopefully will ward off undesirable behavior. Not meant for the whole class but the tracking sheet will help you to remember to build those relationships.
This can all be kept in a goal setting binder. Cover/spine included and editable for you to add your name and/or school year or a different name to the spine. Two spine sizes!
**Note the suggested goals are geared for early learners (kindergarten) but you can add your own as it doesn't effect the rest of the product!
