"During Covid, this resource was very valuable for distant learning. The students were able to continue practicing syllable skills they were working on before in person learning stopped. They were engaged while doing this. I was able to make learning at home more engaging with this set of boom cards."

Description

Are you ready to try 1:1 for kindergarten? Do you need ideas to ignite your literacy block?

Phonological/Phonemic Awareness is a critical step in building a strong foundation for early reading success. One of the first skills children need to develop is the ability to hear syllables in words. Identifying the syllables in a word is a critical step to help increase reading fluency and building confident readers. Use this resource for extra practice in your RTI groups.

Your students will have so much fun on their digital device using this interactive literacy center and word work resource. It's never too early to embrace technology into your kindergarten or first grade classroom. The images give extra vocabulary practice for your ELL students. The product has 36 interactive slides. Perfect for students just beginning with Google. Homeschool families can use the slides in Google drive. Just think no more printing copies.

Aligned with the Common Core Reading Foundations. Use a photo of the kids using this resource for your NAEYC portfolio.
