Digital literacy word work center. Phonics and word recognition is a critical skill in building strong reading foundational skills with beginning readers. One of the skills our kids need is the knowledge that every syllable must have a vowel. Set one of this resource focuses on this skill. Students move pieces to count the vowels/syllables. Learning to break words into chunks helps kids become more fluent readers. Set 2 focuses on breaking apart words into syllables to help increase fluency.

Your students will have so much fun on their digital device using this interactive literacy center and word work resource. It's never too early to embrace technology.
