Description
Students will learn the basics of proper keyboarding skills. Students will use Google Docs to take notes while viewing a short YouTube tutorial. I have posted two versions of the assignment; an individual version and a shared Google Docs version where students will work with a partner. I have also included my notes covering the main points from the tutorial. I use this assignment to introduce proper keyboarding and touch typing. I allow the students to use their notes from this assignment on future assignments, quizzes, etc.
Google Classroom:
1. Create a new assignment in Google Classroom.
2. Upload Proper Keyboarding YouTube (Individual or Shared) Google Docs.
3. Students complete the assignment using Google Docs.
4. Students turn in the assignment to Google Classroom.
