Share

Description

About This Resource:

This is a Google Forms Quiz on rational and irrational numbers. The instructions are easy to follow for you to make a copy of the quiz to your Google Drive. Then you can assign to your students using Google Classroom or some other method.

Questions on this assessment were carefully created to give our students the best practice on the following standard.

8.NS.1 - Know that numbers that are not rational are called irrational. Understand informally that every number has a decimal expansion; for rational numbers show that the decimal expansion repeats eventually, and convert a decimal expansion which repeats eventually into a rational number.

Using this with distance learning:

The main challenge that my colleagues and I were having with distance learning, was how do we assess students? You can use Google Forms quizzes to assess their learning. You can set the settings to not give students the answers and this will help limit any cheating from home. I personally am using Google Forms in almost every lesson with our distance learning.

This resource worked really well for my diverse learners. The structure and clarity supported my students with IEPs, and it allowed them to access the content more independently. I appreciate how adaptable it is for different learning needs.
