Students experienced using Google Sheets and Docs (or Microsoft Excel and Word) will plan and budget for a class picnic! They will plan the picnic food, activities, determine the cost per student and make a flyer announcing the picnic.
Very versatile by grade level because students can plan and budget for a single classroom, several classes, or the entire school, it is up to you! Includes a PDF directions sheet for students, students will shop for the items from the PDF City Center Supermarket. Includes a Google Drive spreadsheet for students to complete and calculate. Students will perform ALL calculations as there are no calculations in the spreadsheet. Students will also use Google Docs to create a flyer announcing the picnic with cost per student.
Downloads in Google Sheets and works perfectly in Microsoft Excel.
Please Note: Students should already be familiar with spreadsheet calculations.
