I am a Core French trained teacher. I teach Grade 1-8 Elementary Core French. I have taught Core French for 20+ years. My passion is to have Core French become more alive in our schools. I have worked for French teachers nationally and globally. I have presented at several conferences and other sessions. I work with Core French teachers to provide more resources and skills for the dynamic Core French classroom. Since I am not just creating resources but teaching and using my own resources, I often update resources to adapt to any societal or other changes we see in our classrooms every year.

Core French Endangered Animals Written and Speaking Assessment Project Template
Students will create their own "Qui suis-je?" poster of an endangered animal from the unit using the modelled sentences and the vocabulary from the unit. Students will also use some prior vocabulary related to animals. Teaching style
I have worked to develop my teaching skills. I love interactive classrooms but I also acknowledge that our students learn in a variety of ways. I try to use all different styles of teaching so that all my students have a chance to learn successfully. I prefer to teach oral language over written language in my classroom - but there is a necessity for both. I aim for 90% oral instruction and 10% written.
