Saskatchewan Grade 1 Math Addition to 10 Full Unit Plan
This unit plan is 100% aligned with the Saskatchewan math curriculum for patterns in grade 1. Outcomes N1.9 and N1.10 are covered for using strategies to add to 10 in this resource.
Each lesson comes with a detailed whole group lesson, which also comes with an assistant page for every student to have one that gives details on everything they need to know for that lesson to go over as a class. This is great to check for understanding and give students confidence before they begin their independent work.
Each lesson comes with 1-2 pages of independent work to do during class time. Each lesson also comes with a homework page that is used to show their parents/guardians what they learned in math that day. This encourages parent involvement and does not leave questioning about what their child is learning or their understanding of what they are learning.
Additional resources such as posters, individual number lines and 10 frames, and activities are included.
This plan also comes with an assessment to use for a summative assessment to use for report card marks.
