Great value

This is a very comprehensive resource. I love that it includes everything from slides, to worksheets, assessments and centres. I am confident that when I use this resource I am meeting the expectations in the Ontario math curriculum. I like the simplicity of the slides. They are clean and bright without being busy. I will say that I do need to supplement some of the lessons with additional resources/lessons as I find it moves quickly and many of my students need more instruction/practice on certain topics. I hope that this seller will eventually make a similar resource for grade 2 as well.

Great value

Great resource that covers all the grade 3 Math curriculum expectations. The slides are a great for engaging learners, activating prior knowledge, and teaching new concepts. The students do the Try This activities on their individual whiteboards and go over the answers as a class as we do not have access to Chromebooks for every student in the class. The practice sheets reinforce the concepts covered in the lesson.

A lot of bang for your buck

I was most excited by the fact that this bundle includes a Google slide deck for each lesson. This was the deciding factor for me and SO worth it! Slides are interactive, engaging, consistent and easy to use. Slides and worksheets are beautifully laid out and visually lovely. My only concern with this purchase is that my particular school/group of kiddos is (overall) not strong mathematically. Generally I would prefer to purchase a year younger (grade 2) and supplement with more enrichment. Because MCTT does not (yet??) have a grade 2 option, I went ahead and pulled the trigger on grade 3. Though I still love it, it did not turn out to be 'a one stop shop' for me, as I still needed to heavily scaffold basically every lesson and stretch out concepts which are scheduled/organized for a single lesson, into multiple lessons. Again, this is just for my particular group of kiddos - if you have a strong group of readers/mathematicians, this is a spectacular resource!! However, if you have a class with weak readers/math skills, just know that you will still need to supplement and plan accordingly. Despite this, I still used it all last year. Of course, this year, my grade assignment has changed (?), but I've still found myself popping back in to use the odd thing. I know it's pricey, but it's clear that there was a lot of time and dedication put into creating this resource, so in my opinion, it's a worthwhile investment for new or seasoned teachers!! Thanks so much!!
