Great value
I used this resource as a first year teacher, on the first year of the new curriculum. This resource saved me countless hours of prep and stress. I was able to hit the ground running day 1 and not worry about not having content ready for the next day.

Strong Curriculum Alignment but Some Setup Challenges

The lessons and slides are very content-rich and align well with the new Alberta Grade 6 math curriculum, making them helpful for introducing new concepts and structuring units. The explanations are generally clear and the quizzes make it easy to check student understanding along the way. However, downloading each lesson individually into Google Drive can be time-consuming, and there are a few errors in the slides that teachers should review before using. Overall, it’s a solid resource, but it does require a bit of extra preparation.

Some helpful parts but disappointing on the errors.

Useful package to save time when planning, but it is extremely disappointing that I spent over $100 for this, and I am finding errors within the lessons. Errors that my students are even pointing out in Grade 5/6. For example, on lesson 4.0 of multiplication, they go through steps for solving 2-digit by 2-digit equations, and they state, on slides, 45 x 34 = 330?! Thats unacceptable for the price we pay. So be aware and double-check all the slides you are about to use for your teaching.

Great value
This resource is very extensive and covers all aspects of the curriculum! It is a great base resource and I would just add videos and activities to supplement the tasks. The grade 6 curriculum is HUGE and I was very thankful to have this resource as a starting point.

A great bundle! I have used many of these lessons this past school year (2024-25) and was grateful for the slides when I had subs (familiar format for students and well laid out), and helped my focus my planning and execution of curriculum for math 6. I used some of the grade 5 materials to scaffold the grade 6 content and was grateful for the fluid crossover.

It’s lovely that this is all premade, however I have found quite a few grammatical errors within the slides. It saves so much time for planning though, and I print the slides in handouts for the students.
