This document contains short daily Common Core ELA Reading passages and questions for use as morning bell work for each day of the week! The new Common Core Standards will contain 45% literature and 55% informational text at seventh grade level. It will require students to do a close reading of text to fully analyze characters, events, and subtle details within a reading passage. This week reviews literature.
This daily practice contains short, original text to provide students with the opportunity to analyze text in just a few minutes each day. An answer key is also included.
