WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE NUMBER SENSE AND OPERATIONS BUNDLE?

⇧ See the detailed PREVIEW for a clear idea of what to expect with your purchase  ⇧

All units in this bundle have Lesson Plans, Google Presentations, Stations, Study Guides and Tests, Tracking Templates, an I have... Who has... activity, and a Grade Calculator.

LESSON PLANS

We have created lessons that correspond to each of the expectations of the Ontario curriculum. All lessons follow a 3-part format including expectations, learning goals, examples, minds on activities, action activities, extension/discussion activities, and consolidation activities. In some instances, there are two lessons to cover an expectation because of the depth and/or difficulty. I would suggest you move on at a pace appropriate for your students.

GOOGLE SLIDES presentation for each lesson

I project these in my classroom for students to see. I like that it reduces photocopies and makes life much easier because the setup is done in advance.

STATIONS (CENTRES)

Give your students to work on the material in a different way. I use this as an opportunity to spend some time with GUIDED GROUPS (Questions included) for the first half of the period and monitor/assess during the second half of the period. If you have a challenging class, this can be a difficult routine to establish, but well worth the effort!

STUDY GUIDE and UNIT TEST (with answer keys). I give the students the Study Guide at the beginning of the unit and have them meet with me periodically before the test to ensure they understand the material.

REPORT CARD COMMENTS

I have included the comments that apply to the unit.

The complete set of report card comments is available here: Grade 7 ONTARIO Math Report Card Comments.

TRACKING TEMPLATES to help you record student learning and grades.
