Description

This is a set of 3 different worksheets and a quiz that I used to re-loop or reteach Graphing Absolute Value Functions. The first day deals with graphing equations, day 2 is for graphing inequalities, the 3rd day is dedicated to a quick quiz to assess their understanding after the re-looping. It is a great way to practice with the students, then assess their progress on the material.

After each test, I re-loop the materials that the students did not do well on. This topic was completed as a 2 days of warm-ups and then a quick 5 question quiz that I could use to assess whether their average on this topic increased after spending more time on it. Recently my students scored a 40% on their test for this topic, but after the re-looping practice, the average was a 72% on the re-loop Quiz.

It is a great way to make sure students get more practice on the topic, then assess them to know whether or not they truly understand it better!

Great practice for graphing both Absolute Value equations and inequalities...and for showing the connection between them! Thanks!
