This editable algebra foldable provides notes and an organized set of practice problems for graphing cube root functions. The foldable is organized in the following way:

  • Question #3: Vertical Translation (UP)
  • Question #4: Vertical Translation (DOWN)
  • Question #5: Horizontal Translation (RIGHT)
  • Question #6: Horizontal Translation (LEFT)
  • Question #7: Vertical Stretch
  • Question #8: Vertical Compression
  • Questions #9 + 10: Combination of all Transformations (including reflection)

I used this as notes for my students. I love that it has the parent function first so it is easy to go back and see where the parent functions is located on the graph and what the table looks like. I love that each transformation is broken down one at a time and then all put together at the end. I let my students use notes on test and they love having this resource.
