Description

This choice board has six project-based tasks based on graphing linear equations (1 page handout in a grid). Students choose three of the six tasks to complete. This is a great way to assess at the end of a unit on graphing linear equations.

I have also included stations-style cards describing each task. You can use this format instead if you choose to have students rotate through the six tasks in centers or learning stations (6 pages with tasks listed in large print - meant to be laminated and placed at each station).

Take a look at the preview file to see what the tasks are.

My students used these instead of finishing another test. I was able to assess what they truly understood.

My students enjoy any activity that provides them the opportunity to choose how they will complete it. As a closing task to the linear equations unit, I find that students really shine when they pick a more creative way of showing what they learned. Thank you for a wonderful resource.
