Description

These notes can help introduce and practice graphing linear inequalities. Included are directions for graphing and examples of: graphing inequalities, writing inequalities given a graph and word problems. These are formatted for interactive notebooks and even include areas to "doodle."

When I use these notes in my classroom, I complete examples with whole-group instruction with the left hand side (which includes four problems) and had students complete the right side (which includes five similar problems). Word problems are also included so student practice applying these skills in real-world context.

After introducing this concept with these notes, try this coloring activity for fun, self-checking practice.

Check out more of my interactive notes here! They work perfectly for interactive notebooks!

Met expectations
Great value
This is an excellent resource for breaking down the steps of graphing linear inequalities. The interactive nature of the notes kept my students engaged and helped them visualize when to use dashed versus solid lines, as well as how to determine the correct shading region. It serves as a clear, structured tool that fits perfectly into a math notebook and supports independent practice.

Pages are set up nicely. I think it is helpful to graph on the same page as the problem.
