Description

Graphing Practice- Line Graphs, Bar Graphs, and Pie Charts or Circle Graphs for Middle School! These 30 no-prep graphing exercises are great to use as bellringers, exit tickets, or just extra practice, and work well for either a science class or math class. Just print and go!

Using a data table, students supply the title, label the X- and Y-axes, practice finding appropriate number intervals, and make the graph. My average sixth grade students take 5 - 10 minutes per graph. The half-sheet format saves paper, or if you prefer more space, you can use the full sheet version.

Now available as ready-to-use EASEL activities!

Each data table includes factual information on a variety of topics. After each graph, there is a question to help students analyze the information.

The graphong practice is great. The printing format is terrible. This resource comes in pdf format and it prints 2 of the same graph on each page. So, when I made copies, I had to manually cut each page in half and then staple the 30 pages together. NOT a fun task when making 195 packets.

I agree, that's a lot of work! What I would have done is print a master set all at once, and cut all the even graphs in half, and then tape graph 2 over the right side of graph 1's page and just copy that 195 times and not have to cut anything. Yes, it would take a bit of time at first, but it's faster than the way you did it, and you would have it for the next time. I'm sorry the format didn't work for you. ETA: I did go and add a folder with each graph on one page.
