Description
This pack is perfect for weekly graph review, as an addition to homework pages, or to print together as part of a daily math review book.
This pack includes 34 different graphing prompts:
Scaled Picture Graphs --- 11 Graphs
Scaled Bar Graphs -------- 12 Graphs
Line Plots -------------------- 11 Graphs
Each type of graphing prompt has an introductory graph that helps them find their way and gives directions. In the following graphs, I gradually remove labels and reminders in the hopes that they will have practiced these steps enough times to remember them on their own.
I designed this file to be used as part of my daily math review throughout the whole year. Each week, students do a different graph, completing the following tasks each day:
Monday: Students complete tally chart on whiteboard and on their papers
Tuesday: Students create graph on their paper
Wednesday: Students answer problems 1-2
Thursday: Students answer problems 3-4
Friday: Students answer problems 5-6
I designed this for 3rd graders. Some questions would be difficult for 2nd graders, but I believe it can span 2nd-5th grade and be VERY useful.

Draw a scaled picture graph and a scaled bar graph to represent a data set with several categories. Solve one- and two-step “how many more” and “how many less” problems using information presented in scaled bar graphs. For example, draw a bar graph in which each square in the bar graph might represent 5 pets.
