Description

UPDATED on 9/12/15 to include a new look, questions about the data, and a grading rubric! Please re-download if you have already purchased! : )

Everything you need for students to conduct a survey, create a pictograph and bar graph, and questions to get students thinking about their data. A rubric for easy grading is also included.

This project goes along great while teaching CCSS 3.MD.B.3:
Draw a scaled picture graph and a scaled bar graph to represent a data set with several categories. Solve one- and two-step "how many more" and "how many less" problems using information presented in scaled bar graphs.

Great project after a graphing chapter to really see if the students learned the information. I think I will use it again during the year as a fun review, especially close to testing time.
