Description
The Free Rice Graphing Project was developed to provide an alternative to an in-class test for a graphing unit and allow students to use real data to create a data table, stem-and-leaf plot, and graph. Included in the package is a parent letter with a description of the project, a data chart for students to collect information, and a rubric to grade the final project.
Students are excited to collect their own data, contribute to a good cause, and practice math skills all at the same time! The final product has an overall amount that each student donated, which becomes a competition of who can donate the most rice!

Thanks!
useful in a variety of project fomats.
My students loved this project!
I am so glad they enjoyed it! I've been using it for the past 5 years and I am still amazed at how the students take it to a new level each school year. I teach 3 math classes and they compete to see who can earn the most rice. Thank you for your review!
