Graphing Quadratics Review Activity
Share

Description

My favorite way to review before a quiz! No prep for you, just print and go! Students 'climb the ladder' as the difficulty builds in this classroom review activity.
Students will :

  • Graph Quadratic Equations written in Standard Form
  • Graph Quadratic Equations written in Factored Form
  • Graph Quadratic Equations written in Vertex Form
  • identify Key Features of Quadratic Graphs such as Vertex, x-intercepts, etc.
  • Write Quadratic Equations given a graph

How does it work?
Half sheets are front and back. All students receive the first 'rung' of the ladder (level 1 difficulty). As students complete, they check their answer with your key and move to rung 2. There are 3 rungs in total. The activity engages students by allowing them to self-assess and move up in difficulty.

The answer key is provided.

I hope your students enjoy it as much as mine do! Depending on skill level, this activity will take between 30 and 45 minutes. Perfect for one class period.
