Graphing Rational Functions DIGITAL Match Game - Distance Learning

This is a cut and paste activity for students to practice graphing rational functions and identifying any asymptotes, x-intercepts and holes. Students cut out the cards and paste them into the blank boxes to fill in the missing information.

There are two functions that have a hole and one function that has a slant asymptote. If students haven't learned how to find the equation of the slant asymptote, they can easily use process of elimination to figure it out since there is only one function with a slant asymptote.

This was a great review activity for my students. They were engaged the whole period. It took most of my students a little over an hour to complete. I had students work in groups of 4. Very easy to use. Would definitely use again and recommend to others. The file is a little out of the margins though.

Thanks so much for your feedback, I'm glad you enjoyed it! I'm so sorry the margins were off for you. If you change the print settings to "Fit to printable area" when printing, that should solve the issue. If you have any questions feel free to email me at amusingalgebra@gmail.com! :)

I used this as another review activity when preparing for their assessment over polynomials and rational functions. It worked perfectly on a day where I was not allowed to assign homework (right before a break) so it allowed them to still get some work in with these functions with a "prize treat" for finishing! I really liked this resource and will use it next year!
