Description
Looking for a lesson on graphing systems of equations? This activity includes notes on the graphing method that students can fold into their interactive notebooks. Additionally, an editable PowerPoint is included that follows along with the notes. Within the PowerPoint are examples that are in slope-intercept form and standard form. The answers include a single point, no solution, and infinitely many solutions. Students will also be able to write their own systems of linear equations that have no solution and infinitely many solutions. There are six extra practice problems included at the end of the PowerPoint that you can use for more guided practice, quick checks, quizzes, etc. In all, twelve problems are included.
This set of notes can be used over the course of 1-2 days.
