In the second activity, students collect tally colors of m&ms and use this data to create a bar graph and answer questions. In the third activity students create a bar graph of the diameters of the planets and answer related questions. In the fourth activity, the laboratory activity, students record the temperature of hot water as it cools over a 30 minute period. They use three different containers for this water, which will all have a different cooling rate. The last activity is a quiz. Great resources. My students enjoyed the lessons.
Excellent resource! Thank you!
It was pretty good.
A great range of activities
Great activities, however, if you are going to use them with younger students (3rd or 4th grade) you might want to pre-make some of the graph for them.
Thanks!
