Looking for math challenges for your students to do at home?
This math challenge has a few different components. First, students must calculate elapsed time to figure out how many hours of sleep their teacher is getting each night and complete the chart. Then, students must plot the times their teacher went to sleep and woke up on a coordinate plane, creating two line graphs. A template for the graph is provided for students to use.
While this activity was designed for 5th graders, it could be used by 6th - 8th grade as well!
