Description

This product contains science and math graphing worksheets and projects for a unit on weather. These resources were created with NGSS content and evidence statements in mind.

The first set of worksheets focus on weather around the world, and the second set focus on weather patterns in one area. Each set contains guided practice, in which students are given data and asked to create different types of graphs to represent the data; independent practice, in which students must gather data and then create graphs to represent the data; and finally, a poster project in which students will gather data, create graphs, and put it all together in a poster using additional text features and answering four big questions.

Worksheets include:
• Weather Around the World guided practice
• Weather Around the World independent practice
• Weather Around the World poster project description
• Weather Around the World poster project research page
• Weather Around the World poster project rubric
• Weather Patterns guided practice
• Weather Patterns independent practice
• Weather Patterns poster project description
• Weather Patterns poster project research page
• Weather Patterns poster project rubric
• Blank maps, blank bar graphs or line graphs, and blank pictographs for poster project
