This an overview of many graph types, with practice questions. The graphs are explained with worked out examples and further practice questions. Methods are used to explain how to recognize and draw these various graphs.
This following topics are covered:
• Constant graph (y = a).
• Constant graph (x = a).
• Linear graphs (y = x).
• Quadratic graphs (y = x^2).
• Cubic graphs (y = x^3).
• Absolute value graphs (y = │x│).
• Reciprocal graphs (y=1/x).
• Square root graphs (y=√x).
• Exponential graphs. (y = ax).
• Circle graphs (x^2 + y^2 = r^2).
Questions are organized in a variety of styles that can be used as worksheets, in groupwork or individually cut out and used as task cards.
Answers to these exercises are included. Examples of questions are given in hte preview.
