Grayscale Wheel with Example
Share

Description

Teachers can use this Greyscale Wheel Template in a shading exercise to help students see the various tones they can establish in their subsequent drawings. The inner wheel is an example they can use as a reference. Once each section is completed students can write (outside the cell) the grade of the pencil they used to achieve the tone that matches the inner wheel. Students may want to build up layers of shading to achieve various tones. Once completed this chart can serve as a reference in other drawing projects.
