Description
iPad + Green Screen + App + Creativity = Digital Storytelling.
Lights! Camera! Action!
These materials are designed to help you guide students through the video production process. From storyboard to post production, gain the confidence to teach your class how to make a green screen video using DoInk's popular iPad app.
The Video Academy provides the necessary tools to create digital stories using a variety of tools such as narrative voice, video, photographs, animation, sound, music, and text. We will review the basics of film production and then create original movies using a green screen. This hands-on class will walk through ideation to creation learning how to storyboard, record, and produce movies to share on the final class where we will host our own film festival. Students will learn video production basics, storytelling, reporting, camera shots, movie editing and broadcasting.
Our journey begins with a review of film production basics to prepare students for recording. Each person in the class will get trained on how to use equipment responsibly. After we discover how to manage our technology, we will start filming. At first, the teacher will demonstrate the video process, and then the students will be ready to create original works. A fun brainstorming session with our Story Starters and Storyboard Squares will give students a framework to build their digital stories.
