This Groundhog Day addition math craft makes the perfect center activity for preschool, kindergarten, or first grade students. Students will practice simple arithmetic by adding the suns or clouds which makes a great activity or assessment. This February and weather themed printable math resource includes differentiated templates to choose from that will make the perfect bulletin board.

This product includes:

• templates with different headers including:

I have _____ suns in all, I have _____ clouds altogether, ______ and _____ make, ________ + __________ =

• suns and clouds with and without lines for easier cutting
• 2 different practice mats to practice before gluing
• optional number cards 1-20

NOTE: I try to keep my crafts so they fit on a 8.5 x 11 paper when glued. However, based on the addition equation students are solving, you may need to provide them with a bigger piece of construction paper ex: 8 + 6 would need bigger construction paper to glue them all on.
