This activity helps students develop observational learning skills through watching and writing about their seed growing into a plant. Seed and Plant Illustrations aid students as they observe different parts of the plant grow from the seed.

Students place seeds in a self-contained ecosystem and watch it grow over 3 weeks! Each student creates a Paper Bag Plant STEM Journal to help them record observations about the growth of the plant.
