Growing & Shrinking Number Patterns - True or False Challenge Cards

Develop your students' abilities to recognize underlying rules in numerical patterns. Each challenge card will display a numerical pattern. Students will need to interpret what they see on the card and the underlying rule. If the pattern follows the rule correctly, they will move the challenge card under true. If it does not, they will move it under false. Great activity for math rotations!

*Updated to Version 2 in January 2021. Now includes new design. Math center activities are also now available as worksheets*

Differentiated Learning Activities
Activities become progressively harder as students proceed through each level. Advanced students will move through to the level 3 challenge cards. Those experiencing difficulties may remain on the level 1 challenge cards to practice the basic concepts involved with growing/increasing, and shrinking/decreasing number patterns.

Level 1

Growing/increasing patterns within 100.

Level 2

Shrinking/decreasing patterns within 100.

Level 3

Growing and shrinking patterns within 500.
