Description
This Guided Math unit provides standards-aligned whole group fourth grade math lessons followed up with the teacher-led small group lessons and all materials to teach multiplication and division problem-solving. Each guided math unit has problem-of-the-day math warm-ups, whole group and small group lesson plans and activities, quizzes, reviews, assessments, skill pages, and more. This is perfect for a main math curriculum for the year, supplementing any math curriculum, or providing math intervention.
All student materials are also translated and a Spanish Supplement is included in the download.
Multiplication and Division Problem-Solving Unit Focus
The lessons in unit 3 of Guided Math focus on 4th grade multiplication and division. Students will learn to understand the relationship between multiplication and division and its importance in problem-solving. Students will also learn to use standard algorithms and partial product/quotients for multiplication and division. This guided math unit will also focus on fluency to solve real-world math problems. Several hands-on activities are tied to the lessons, as well as rigorous problems to prepare students for problem-solving.
