This is a fun two-day guided reading lesson plan for the book - It's Spring.
- The lesson plan includes instructions and a script for before, during, and after reading the book each day.
- This resource also includes multiple types of reading level indicators (Lexile; DRA; Step; Guided Reading).
- Each lesson ends with an independent writing assignment that can be used as an assessment:
- Day One - Word Sort graphic organizer for the digraph OW: long ō and ou sounds. (An answer key is included for the Word Sort.)
- Day Two - Students write a short poem and practice using rhyming words.
