Easy "print, fold and go" guided reading books for CVC practice and sight word practice. This resource is perfect for your early readers in a whole group or in a small guided reading group.

There are 2 variations of a book for each of the 5 vowels, totaling 10 books total. The first version of the story is for predictive, repetitive text of target sight words with decoding practice (clear picture clue included for extra confidence as a reader). The second version offers the same predictive, repetitive text of target sight words but offers an additional challenge of encoding the word of the picture clue.

Each book has a target short vowel sound and target sight words. All 5 short vowel sounds are included in this resource.
