Set up Guided Reading Activities for the ENTIRE year with these Task Cards! Designed to fit into photo/craft storage boxes, these activities can be used in a small group setting or as independent tasks.

There are 12 sets of task cards which focus on a range of comprehension skills. Each set will encourage your students to think critically about fiction and non-fiction texts;

  1. Predicting
  2. Visualising
  3. Making Connections
  4. Monitoring
  5. Questioning
  6. Summarising
  7. Vocabulary
  8. Character
  9. Compare and Contrast
  10. Creative Tasks
  11. Non-Fiction
  12. Reciprocal Reading Roles

There are a total of 101 cards plus an EDITABLE template to create more cards! Simply print, cut and laminate!
