This math craft is prefect for your next winter bulletin board display! Your students will get a gingerbread house and gumdrops to create the prefect word problem- word problem templates included for addition and subtraction problems. Students will need to add gumdrops to the gingerbread house.

The preview shows how this craft is used when adding/ subtracting to 10. However, this resource could be used for other standards like adding/subtracting to 20, decomposing a number leading to a ten, subtraction as an unknown-addend problem, commutative property, or the associative property to name a few other ideas.
