Description
Mentor sentences help to teach style and conventions in a way that is interactive and interesting. Over the course of a week, students will work with one super sentence from HMH Into Reading Module 1-10 texts in different ways each day.
Each week, there will be a focus on one or two skills, aligned to HMH Into Reading Module 1-10 Grammar Schedule. Students will also be exposed to several skills, many of which they have already learned from previous mentor sentences.
This spiral learning helps students retention of the grammar skills and their own writing abilities.
Each Google Slides is completely editable and can be changed to fit your needs.
