Description

Overwhelmed by the amount of information in the HMH Into Reading lessons? Are you tired of having a million open tabs, and your teacher manuals are all over the place? Then this resource is for you!

All visuals, directions, pintables, etc. are in one place! Simply open up these slides and teach. The only exception is the Get Curious video, everything else had direct access and is linked to the materials you need. This is your one-stop shop for all your HMH Into Reading Lessons.

Each daily lesson is designed to be taught in 30-45 minutes and broken into different parts:

  • Foundational Skills
  • Vocabulary
  • Reading Strategy and MyBook in story application
  • Making Connections

Centers follow each daily lesson. I usually allow 45 minutes for students to work independently. There is a slide for you to input your own centers.

More organized than HMH itself. Great supplement to go along with the curriculum.

Our students loved using this resource independently as well as in small groups. They always became engaged in the resource and didn’t mind seeking for peer help when needed. I was also easy for us to just print and go. We also made it accessible for our emerging Ls to be paired up with a stronger language student to provide the support necessary.

This resource was exactly what I needed! It is well-organized, easy to use, and saves me so much planning time. The directions are clear, and the activities are engaging for students. I love that it is flexible enough to adapt for different learners and grade levels. Definitely a resource I will use again and again—thank you!
