This HIGH FREQUENCY WORDS- for SEESAW is a zero-prep, paperless resource that provides your students with the independent, hands-on word work and fluency practice they need!

Each HIGH FREQUENCY WORDS- for SEESAW pack corresponds with a Houghton Mifflin Harcourt 1st grade Into Reading story. This pack focuses on the following word work and fluency activities:

1. Search and Highlight Students will find the listed high frequency word within a group of different words with a variety of fonts and mark it with a drag-and-drop highlight.

2. Spell It At the side of the page there are mixed up letter tiles to spell the high frequency word. Students will drag-and-drop these letters to correctly spell the given high frequency word. 

3. Unscramble- Word tiles are located at the bottom of the slide. Students will unscramble and build a sentence that matches the clip art on the slide by dragging-and-dropping the word tiles in the correct order.

4. Read and Match Students will read each of the sentences and find the missing high frequency word. They will drag-and-drop the word tile. All of the sentences are designed with beginning readers in mind. They are written with short vowel words, high frequency nouns and other sight words.

5. Create a Sentence Finally, students will be able to create their own sentence using the assigned high frequency word. Students will type the sentence in the corresponding box.
