Want a fun and interactive way for students to edit their writing? This digital rubric is a great way to encourage your students and have them edit their writing independently. Each aspect of the writing process is broken down in an easy way for your students to understand.

The Google Form will take them through 11 questions that reflect the student rubric in HMH. If they answer “no” for a particular question they will be directed to edit their writing in a constructive way. After they have edited their writing, they will be redirected to the original question, so that they can change their answer to a “yes.” This will allow for the students to edit their writing so that they will meet all of the requirements on the grading rubric. Students will also be able to reflect and provide feedback as to how they enjoyed this writing assignment. After each rubric submission, teachers will be able to see student responses.
