The HOT Takes pyramid is for challenging your students to create and answer higher order thinking questions within any subject, and for any content/unit.

This is great for challenging your students to problem solve, think more critically, and use big picture thinking. This project increases student engagement within a unit, while being aligned with Bloom's Taxonomy and also DOK focused.

My students are excited after each lesson when I pull out the pyramid. It gives them a visual goal to shoot for and the end of unit project I find online or come up with for the top of our pyramid really helps me assess how much they have learned.
