Description
In this Hybrid (hands-on inquiry plus simulation) investigation on mechanical waves students will investigate wave impacts and inference with Slinkys. After the inquiry lab section, student will use the PhET Wave On a String simulation to repeat the investigation virtually.
Materials needed: Slinkys, metal or plastic rings, string, ring stand or similar, the PhET website.
